In addition to the annual SOCMA CONNECT Washington Fly-In in June, SOCMA CONNECT also provides its members with the opportunity to meet with their Congressional Representatives at any point throughout the year- in Washington, DC or at home - through the SOCMA CONNECT Congressional Visit Program!

We understand the issues most important to your company may make a Congressional visit critical at other points during the year.  Any SOCMA member is welcome to take part in the program, whether he or she has experience in legislative advocacy.  A member of SOCMA’s Government Relations staff will accompany you on your Congressional visit if in DC.  If you choose to meet in your home district, SOCMA will send you talking points and leave behinds to assist you in the meeting.

SOCMA is happy to schedule your Congressional visits, both in DC or in your home state.  Please contact Elizabeth Stevulak with at least four weeks’ notice prior to your visit, as well as multiple dates and times of availability and the legislative topic(s) of interest.
