For those of you planning to attend the Chemical Sector Security Summit and Expo, the discounted rate to reserve your room ends June 29. The Summit, co-funded by SOCMA and the Department of Homeland Security, provides a forum for representatives from the chemical community to exchange information and network with other security professionals. A breakout session that might be of particular interest to SOCMA members focuses on the challenges to Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) implementation at small facilities.
