  6. EPA Renews Information Request on SNURs for Existing Chemicals

    The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has submitted another information collection request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) on ‘‘TSCA Section 5(a)(2) Significant New Use Rules for Existing Chemicals’’ (EPA ICR No. 1188.13, OMB Control No. 2070–0038). This is a request to renew the approval of an existing ICR.  
  7. Changes Proposed for SNURs and PMNs

    The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing changes to the Significant New Uses of Chemical Substances regulations under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to align with revisions to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and changes to the OSHA Respiratory Protections Standard and the NIOSH non-powered air-purifying particulate respirator certification requirements pertaining to respiratory protection of workers from exposure to chemicals.
