    As directed by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)  is establishing a Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC).

    Registration is now open for a September 13 meeting where the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will consult with manufacturers, processors and representatives of such entities who are potentially subject to fees under the Toxic Substances Control Act as amended by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act (TSCA).

    SOCMA recently submitted written comments on the administration of fees under the new Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) law. The comments follow an oral statement made during a stakeholder meeting with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) several weeks ago.

  12. Mid-Year Reviews to be Sent to all Senior Management

    Mid-year reviews will be sent to all ChemStewards® member companies by September 2. These will be mailed directly to senior management, and an electronic copy will be sent to ChemStewards Coordinators and Official Representatives. These all-inclusive status reports show you our records of what has been turned in, upcoming due dates, and any overdue items that must be addressed.
