New for 2013, SOCMA will offer a sneak peek of next year’s Leadership and Business Development Forum by featuring a series of speakers preceding the Annual Dinner. The speakers will begin at 3:00 PM on Monday, with a Speed Networking Reception following. The speakers and topics will be as follows:

  • Peter Tanous, Financial Expert, "The Economic Outlook: Inflation, Interest Rates, the Stock Market and Where Do We Go From Here?"
  • Randy Rabenhorst, Energy Expert, "Impact of Shale Gas on North American Petrochemicals"
  • Earle Steinberg, Strategy & Operations Expert, "Operational Excellence in Specialty Chemicals"

Annual Dinner SponsorsENTERTAINMENT:
The Capitol Steps began in 1981 as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, Fiscal Shades of Gray. They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.

What Members Are Saying…

“Right off the bat, SOCMA’s ChemStewards provides you with a template that shows you good practices that should be implemented across-the-board.  And the dialogue with other members and SOCMA staff is very valuable.  You would have to pay a lot of money to bring in that kind of expertise, but with SOCMA, it’s all a benefit of membership.”
