This year saw another successful GlobalChem which included a special focus on EPA’s new chemical testing partnership with Canada and Mexico under the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) known as the Chemical Assesment and Management Program(ChAMP).  More than 350 veterans and newcomers of the chemical industry attended for the opportunity to dive deeper into the sometimes confusing depths of global chemical regulations. Expert speakers and panelists were in attendance to share their knowledge and offer insights on their specialty areas, including TSCA, SPP, GHS, and REACH.   Administrator Stephen L. Johnson and Assistant Administrator James Gulliford of the Environmental Protection Agency were two such speakers, along with Mary Mortensen of the CDC who spoke on biomonitoring.

GlobalChem also hosted a variety of exhibitors in its exhibitor hall.  Companies specializing in products and services designed to assist anyone working with the complex regulatory roadways were on hand.  Over 20 companies exhibited this year.

Thank you to all attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for making GlobalChem 2008 a rich and informative conference.  We look forward to working with everyone again during next year’s conference.

All of the presentations from the conference are posted below by session, then by speaker.

If you need any further assistance with the presentations, please contact Bill Allmond Director, Government Relations.
