Comments & Testimony

SOCMA submits comments to numerous government agencies when given the opportunity. We feel that it is an important way to advocate on behalf of our members and to their concerns during the legislative and rulemaking process.

SOCMA members provide testimony before government bodies when our focus areas become particularly hot topics. SOCMA welcomes these opportunities because our members are able to provide firsthand knowledge and expertise gained from working in the field to educate legislative and regulatory bodies about SOCMA members' concerns and challenges, as well as to influence legislation and regulations to address SOCMA's position.
