ChemTrends Education Session: Intersection of Economics and Politics: A Conversation with Stephen Moore & Peter Tanous

Peter Tanous, noted author and Founder and Chairman of Lynx Investment Advisory, LLC, will moderate a fireside chat with Stephen Moore, an outspoken American writer and economic policy analyst. Moore is most known for advocating free-market policies and supply-side economics. He is a frequent contributor to CNN and former member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board.

Tune in as our speakers analyze the political and economic forecast moving into 2019, with an eye on issues relevant to specialty chemical manufacturers such as trade policy uncertainties, tax reform, health care and transportation costs, and the outlook of the electoral landscape.

Moderator: Peter Tanous, Founder and Chairman, Lynx Investment Advisory, LLC

Speaker: Stephen Moore, Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Project for Economic Growth, The Heritage Foundation

ChemTrends Education Session: Hot Topics with Industry Trade Press

Back by popular demand, the industry trade press panel features four of the top editors in U.S. and global chemical industry trade publications.

Our speakers are on the frontline providing insight and analysis on issues that affect your business operations. They keep us informed on the goings-on within the regulatory agencies, fluctuations with raw material availability, and potential trade disruption due to impending tariffs. As a trusted resource, we turn to them when it comes to industry news that matters most.

Don't miss your opportunity to hear their perspectives and ask questions on the critical issues that affected our industry in 2018 and what may become paramount in 2019.

Moderator: Jenny Gaines, Sr. Director, Communications & Marketing, SOCMA

Panelists: Joseph Chang, Global Editor, ICIS Chemical Business; Michael McCoy, Executive Editor, C&EN; Gregory DL Morris, U.S. Editor, Speciality Chemicals Magazine; Rob Westervelt, Editor-in-Chief, Chemical Week

5:00pm-5:45pm VIP Reception: Current & Past Board Members [By Invitation]
