Stephen Moore, CNN Contributor, Author and Distinguished Visiting Fellow

Stephen Moore is the Distinguished Visiting Fellow for Project for Economic Growth at The Heritage Foundation. Moore, who also was a member of The Journal’s editorial board, returned to Heritage in January 2014. 

Moore is the founder of Club for Growth and the Free Enterprise Fund. He joined The Wall Street Journal as the senior economics writer for the newspaper’s editorial board, where he has covered Washington policy debates and state issues.

He received a bachelor of arts degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a master’s of arts in economics from George Mason University.

Peter Tanous, Founder and Chairman of Lynx Investment Advisory, LLC

Peter Tanous has spent his entire fifty-year career in the field of finance and money management. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Bank Audi (U.S.A.) in New York City. 

Tanous is the author of Investment Gurus, (Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster) a widely acclaimed book that explores the careers and theories of some of the greatest money managers and financial academics of the 20th century. Investment Gurus was chosen as a Main Selection of The Money Book Club as was his subsequent book, The Wealth Equation.  

He received a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University and served as an officer in the U.S. Army. Tanous serves on several investment committees including those of Georgetown University, Lebanese American University and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Joseph Chang, Global Editor, ICIS Chemical Business

Joseph Chang is Global Editor of ICIS Chemical Business, a weekly publication focusing on making sense of chemical prices worldwide. This includes price trends, and the factors impacting these trends in both the short term, and long term. He has been with ICIS and one of its predecessor publications for more than 21 years, specializing in coverage of financial topics such as macroeconomics, capital spending patterns, equity and debt markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Joseph has a degree in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Michael McCoy, Executive Editor, C&EN

Michael received his B.A. in chemistry and English from Cornell University in 1985. He worked for Chemical Market Reporter, the predecessor to ICIS Chemical Business, for about 12 years before moving to Chemical & Engineering News, the flagship magazine of the American Chemical Society. Today, Michael is C&EN’s Executive Editor for Business, managing a staff of eight business reporters across the globe.

Gregory DL Morris, U.S. Editor, Speciality Chemicals Magazine

Gregory DL Morris has been a working journalist in energy, chemicals, finance, and transportation for 30 years, first learning his craft on manual typewriters. His career started at Chemical Week covering pharmaceuticals (actives and excipients), cosmetics, surfactants, coatings, adhesives and other specialty chemicals. He then moved upstream to petrochemicals and energy. Gregory has reported from all 50 states and eight Canadian provinces, as well as 17 countries on five continents. He is a native New Yorker and graduate of Cornell University.

Rob Westervelt, Editor-in-Chief, Chemical Week 

Rob Westervelt is editor-in-chief of 
Chemical Week and has covered the global chemical industry for more than 20 years. Westervelt joined IHS Markit with its September 2010 acquisition of Chemical Week and SRI Consulting. Westervelt was named editor ofChemical Week in December 2006. His team is responsible for coverage and analysis of news and trends impacting the global chemical industry. Rob joined the magazine in 1994 as a reporter and editorial assistant. Prior to being named editor-in-chief, he was senior editor/news, responsible for Americas’ news and markets coverage.

Greg Schwem, Comedian and Entertainer

Greg Schwem’s comedic take on the 21st century workplace and work/life balance has landed him on SIRIUS Radio, FOX News, Comedy Central and the pages of Parents Magazine. More than just a business humorist, Greg is also an author, nationally syndicated humor columnist, award-winning greeting card writer and creator of funnydadinc, voted one of the top Dad humor sites of 2016.  He has shared the concert stage with the likes of Celine Dion and Jay Leno.

A graduate of Northwestern University’s prestigious Medill School of Journalism, Greg never envisioned a career in laughter. Instead, he settled in Florida, becoming an award-winning reporter for NBC-owned WPTV in West Palm Beach. But the comedy bug bit Greg hard and he returned to his hometown of Chicago, where he honed his standup act in nightclubs. 

Greg’s show provides a hilarious look at today’s corporate environment and the latest tools used to conduct business.
