In 2017 we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of SOCMA's Annual Washington Fly-In, an event that offers our members an opportunity to influence the future direction of chemical policy through face-to-face meetings with lawmakers and their staff on Capitol Hill. As an attendee, you will receive training on how to effectively communicate with congressional offices, enjoy a reception in the Capitol building with one or more members of Congress as speakers, network with fellow SOCMA members, and spend the day meeting with U.S. Senators, Representatives and their staff.

This year will be particularly exciting as we add a new component to our Fly In. In addition to our regularly planned meetings with the offices of our members’ respective congressional Representatives and Senators, we are also organizing meetings for teams of attendees that are issue specific such as Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) implementation, trade, regulatory reform, and burdens on small businesses.

With a new Administration coming into office in 2017, there are a host of new opportunities for you to influence key legislation impacting the specialty chemical industry. The Fly-In is the perfect opportunity to engage with new members of Congress and committee chairs and share your views on new legislative priorities. This is an event you don't want to miss.

    $350 ($450 after March 28)
  • Early Bird (Additional Company Registrant):
    $225 ($325 after March 28)

Cancellations, Refunds, & Substitutions

Registration cancellations must be submitted to SOCMA in writing to turnerc@socma.com by April 11, 2017, to receive a refund, less a 50% processing fee. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

After the cancellation deadline has passed no refunds will be given/granted. Additionally, no refunds will be issued for No Shows, those who register but do not attend the meeting. Your refund will be processed via your original method of payment. Please allow 30 days for check refunds.

SUBSTITUTIONS: If you are unable to attend for any reason, you can transfer your registration to another person without penalty.
