Washington DC – The Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association (SOCMA) announces the launch of its newly designed website.  The website’s design is part of SOCMA’s strategic initiative to enhance knowledge exchange and provide SOCMA members with the most up-to-date information specific to the specialty, batch and custom chemical industry.

Features from this first phase of upgrades to SOCMA’s online presence will provide members with information regarding the continually changing chemical market.  Some highlights include a customized Member Dashboard, ChemStewards® Quick Links, new grassroots tools, an Advocacy Scorecard and a high profile Member Spotlight section on the homepage.  Additional enhancements are planned for the coming year and will include a robust set of interrelated networking tools for members.

“We’re very pleased to offer such a clean, user-friendly site that offers our members the ability to design their own dashboard.  The dashboard ensures members receive the information they need, when they need it,” said Dolores Alonso, Director of Member Services.

Another exciting new feature offered on SOCMA’s website is the daily news feed from the leading industry news magazine Chemical Week.  This newsfeed provides SOCMA members with robust business news and is part of a new partnership between SOCMA and Chemical Week.
